Ingredients:
1 lb. sashimi grade ahi tuna (yellowfin can be used as a substitute)
1 Tbsp. Kukui nuts*, crushed
1 Tbsp. nori flakes* (seaweed)
½ cup soy sauce
1 tsp. sake
2 shallots, diced
Directions:
Chop ahi into large pieces, about 2” x 2” inch squares. In a large serving dish, add all ingredients and chill for one hour. Serve as an appetizer.
*Kukui nuts can be found at specialty Asian grocers.
